TRAINING AND SCHOLARSHIP PROCEDURES AND POLICIES
To register for a training event, click the event link on our training page. Doing so will lead to a registration page for that event. Once registered, you will have the option to pay by credit card, to apply for a scholarship for the event, or to be invoiced by the Center’s finance department.
Scholarships are available to member organizations only to cover a portion of the registration fee for three-hour and six-hour workshops, and for our series programs: Standards for Excellence, Nonprofit Management Certification Program and Leaders’ Circle. At the conclusion of the registration form for the particular training you wish to attend, you will be redirected to our scholarship form (if you choose that option) to fill out a scholarship application. A separate scholarship application form is required for each training for which you apply. Only OKCNP member organizations are eligible for scholarships. To purchase a Center membership, complete this application on this page.
If you have additional questions regarding the scholarship application process please contact Debra Hull at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Cancellation/refund policy: Cancellations made at least 48 hours advance will receive either a 100% refund for the course or a credit towards a future training. Cancellations made less than 48 hours in advance will still be charged for the course, and are welcome to apply funds to other training opportunities with the Center.
Nonprofit Management Certification Program Policies: Participants can miss up to one class session and still receive the Nonprofit Management Certificate. If more than one session is missed, participants can still attend, but will not receive a certificate. Classes can be made-up by attending either the Oklahoma City or Tulsa events. Please note that students attending the program on scholarship must attend at least 5 out of the entire series of 6 classes, or will be required to pay back the awarded scholarship.
Standards for Excellence: While all organizations are encouraged to send two participants to the entire, four-part series, Standards for Excellence scholarship recipients must send two representatives to each session in order to graduate. Scholarship recipients must complete the entire four-part series, or must pay back awarded funds.
Leaders’ Circle: Any program participant who receives a scholarship and is absent for more than two sessions during the 6-month series will be required to pay back the full amount of the awarded scholarship.
