Yaseen MozaffarOnline Learning Coordinator

Yaseen is a Spring 2020 graduate of the University of Oklahoma’s Accelerated Master’s program in Economics. His time in college has strengthened his commitment to service, which he has pursued through internships with the Florida Nonprofit Alliance in Jacksonville, Fla. and the Women’s Resource Center in Norman, as well as consulting for two organizations as a part of The Oklahoma Group. Although his experience has been varied and somewhat disparate to this point, he centers his efforts on outreach and education, which he believes are key to progress is the realm of social justice. To this end, he maintains heavy involvement in debate, including instructing at the Harvard Debate Council’s Summer Workshops, to help students learn to find their voices and use them to speak out on what matters to them. He will work with OKCNP for a year through the Americorps VISTA program, after which he will attend Columbia Law School. His hobbies include hiking, semi-successful attempts at photography and petting every dog he comes across.
