Joshua Lunsford is Director of Communications at the Oklahoma Center for Nonprofits, where he oversees all communication efforts, from daily news updates to big events, such as the ONE Awards and Visions. Joshua has spent the past few years working to understand perspectives from across Oklahoma, because he believes that we can only grow as a state when we work together with both rural and urban voices at the table.
He holds a Master of Arts in Journalism and Mass Communications from the University of Oklahoma with a focus on nonprofit marketing and management. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Advertising from OU.
Prior to joining the Center, Joshua was the Community Arts Director at the Oklahoma Arts Council since 2012, overseeing the Community Arts Program Grants, Cultural District Initiative, Performing Artist Roster, and Oklahoma’s New and Emerging Arts Leaders network. Prior to the state arts council, Joshua held the position of Associate Director for the Norman Arts Council and gallery manager of MAINSITE Contemporary Art in Norman from 2009-2012. Joshua has been working with nonprofit organizations in various capacities for over 10 years. He has over 20 years of marketing and graphic design experience.
