OKCNP invites NP leaders to networking event at Youth Services
The Oklahoma Center for Nonprofits, the state’s leading provider of training, consultation and advocacy services for Oklahoma’s charitable sector, has invited nonprofit leaders for a meet and greet networking event with Jerry Wright, Director of Community Engagement for Southern Oklahoma. The event will take place 1:30-4:30 p.m. March 28 at Youth Services of Stephens County.
“With the challenges that so many nonprofits face, state budget shortfalls, tight funding, and increased needs of the community, it is critical to learn the best practices for nonprofits and stay connected with each other in the nonprofit community. The services that each nonprofit provides in Stephens County and the surrounding area are critical in the lives of so many people. Communities are made better by the dedicated and hard work of the nonprofit sector,” Wright said.
If you attend the networking event, you will receive a coupon that entitles you to a free two or three Hour workshop with the Oklahoma Center for Nonprofits. Redemption will be valid upon payment of membership.
Those interested in attending should RSVP to Sara Orellana at firstname.lastname@example.org. Youth Services of Stephens County is located at 16 South 7th Street, Duncan, Oklahoma.
Upcoming training sessions with the Oklahoma Center for Nonprofits include Using a Strategic Plan, Boot Camp for Boards and Standards for Excellence. In addition, the Oklahoma Center for Nonprofits conducts multiple webinars each month addressing the most popular topics for nonprofit organizations.
