Director of Resource Development and Gift Planning
United Way of Central Oklahoma is seeking a full-time Director of Resource Development and Gift Planning. The purpose of this position is strengthen United Way’s long-term sustainability by developing a pipeline of loyal donors who will maintain United Way high on their list of philanthropic priorities throughout their lifetime, including relationships that transition to planned giving.
This position would work closely with the President and CEO in developing and implementing a planned giving program for volunteers and donors, a program to recruit, engage and recognize retiree donors, and a donor recognition and stewardship program.
This position must have exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail. Familiarity with non-profit agency structure, endowments, fundraising, budgeting and program implement. Excellent technical, interpersonal, writing, and oral presentation skills. Ability to work as a team or independently with ability to handle difficult situations in a diplomatic fashion. Ability to efficiently handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Degree from an accredited college or university preferred. In lieu of a degree, job experience will be accepted with the approval of the President and CEO.
