The Case Manager is responsible for coordination and supervision of victim service functions at the CARE Center including supervision of staff within Victim Services including advocacy, mental health, medical operations and forensic interviews. This position will manage all aspects of the child victim and caregivers visit to the CARE Center including communication prior to the visit and regular communication after the visit to include any follow up, appointments, referrals and tracking of the case (including prosecution). This position will coordinate partner engagement and response to the cases occurring at the Center. The Case Manager will work with the Victim Services team to ensure adequate response and work to self-regulate improvement. The Case Manager provides training and oversight of the forensic interviews, family advocacy meetings, therapy referrals, medical appointments and outcome measurements for all areas. This position ensures best practices and maintains up to date information on the practice of child and family interactions. The Case Manager will handle the most difficult, complicated or special needs cases, out of county requests, in-patient information while also taking the opportunity to train other volunteers and team members. This position reports directly to the CEO. This position will work to further our mission, provide exceptional leadership to the entire team and work with other leadership of the organization.
Bachelors degree in related field. Minimum 5-7 years management experience leading a team of at least 5 people.
Preferred applicants should have knowledge of child abuse and neglect and previous experience with the Child Advocacy Center model, however preference will be given to experienced managers.
