Position Description:

The Tulsa Campaign to Prevent Teen Pregnancy (Tulsa Campaign) seeks a full-time Project Manager with a high-level of initiative and exceptional organizational skills. Working under the direction of the Executive Director, the Project Manager is responsible for implementing educational programs for the Tulsa Campaign. The Project Manager should be an “all hands-on deck” team player, eager to work for an organization impacting broad social change in Tulsa.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage logistics for sexuality education implementation in Tulsa and surrounding area schools
  • Work collaboratively with partners to ensure consistent implementation across schools and other programs
  • Serve as a liaison between schools, programs, partners, and the Tulsa Campaign staff
  • Maintain ongoing contact with assigned local programs including trouble-shooting, evaluation, and coordination of educational programs
  • Perform/Coordinate train-the-trainer programs
  • Coordinate Tulsa Campaign-led trainings and educational events; including set and debrief
  • Maintain working knowledge of the latest research, program developments, data trends, as well as local, state and national experts in the field
  • Provide technical assistance as needed
  • Attend professional development annually to maintain knowledge of latest educational trends and curriculum; some travel required
  • Represent the Tulsa Campaign on task forces and committees as needed
  • Manage grant deliverables and reports
  • Duties may change with the needs of the organization
  • Directly responsible for the development, planning, and co-facilitation of the Youth Leadership Council
  • Leads Tulsa area sex educator network, providing professional development

Position Qualifications:

Qualifications and Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree and one to three years of programmatic or specialized technical experience in a relevant field required (Master’s Degree preferred)
  • Experience implementing educational programs to a variety of audiences
  • Knowledge of health education principles including scientific, evidence-based approaches to teen pregnancy prevention, research-proven sexuality education curricula, and positive youth development
  • Ability to communicate to a wide variety of audiences with a high degree of professionalism
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and organizational skills
  • Excellent computer skills (including Microsoft Office, website updates, and social media)
