Senior Services Intern
The Senior Services Intern is part of the Senior Services team, which oversees grandparents raising grandchildren activities, caregiver support groups, and respite, and reports to the CFP Manager. The Senior Services intern will be given the opportunity to independently manage a project.

Work with the CFP Manager to organize grandparent activities.
Assist in writing and gathering client stories for the organization.
Process applications for Backpack or Christmas Program.
Maintain and organize photo library and flicker account.
Assist in the design and creation of promotional material.
Assist CFP Support Coordinator with projects as needed.
Input client information into database and assist with database cleanup efforts.
Input email address into e-communications database.
Provide resources to families.
Assist in administrative duties associated with all Senior Service Programs.
Other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
Currently enrolled in college and majoring in the fields of social work, gerontology, project management, or any other related field.
ADDITIONAL JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Clearance of background check and drug screen.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
Current driver’s license and automobile insurance

COMPUTER EQUIPMENT AND SOFTWARE REQUIREMENTS:
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Must be willing to work flexible hours. While performing the duties of this job, the intern must be able to sit over long periods of time and be able to talk, hear, sit, and stand; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, crouch and lift and or move items of up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus. Must have excellent command of English language and grammar, both verbal and written. Must be able to manually operate and use a computer. Must be able to clearly hear and understand telephone conversations.
The employee will work in an office environment; may work in close proximity with other staff, seniors, families, and small children. The noise level in the work environment is generally moderate.
