The Oklahoma SoonerCare Health Management Program has 16 office chairs they would like to donate to a local nonprofit.

Please email lwilson@telligen.org if you are interested in setting up a time between 8:00 - 5:00 Monday through Friday to come look at them.

PRSA-OKC to Offer Free PR Service to Nonprofits

Local nonprofit organizations can apply to have a team of public relations professionals plan their special event or campaign at no cost.  The free services are offered through PR 360, an annual public service event hosted by the Oklahoma City Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA).

PR 360 is open to officially chartered 501(c)3 nonprofits without a full-time public relations practitioner on staff.  Selected nonprofits will be matched with a team of PRSA members who will develop a PR plan for the nonprofit’s proposed event or campaign.  The professional teams will present their plans to nonprofit representatives at the PR 360 luncheon on May 16, from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m., at the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma. The public service event will also include media panel discussion on nonprofit media and communications.

Best Places to Work in Oklahoma

Best Places to Work in Oklahoma is an exciting initiative dedicated to identifying and recognizing Oklahoma’s best employers.

If you think your organization has what it takes to be honored on the sixth annual "Best Places to Work in Oklahoma" list, register by February 10, 2012 to be eligible!

Eligibility

To be eligible for consideration, companies must meet the following criteria:

  • Be a for-profit or not-for-profit business or government entity
  • Be a publicly or privately held business
  • Have a facility in the state of Oklahoma
  • Have a minimum of 25 employees working in the state of Oklahoma
  • Must be in business a minimum of 1 year

Volunteers for Your Project!

Need 25-40 volunteers to help with your nonprofit's project?

The Students Today Leaders Forever nonprofit student organization is sending a group of college students across the country on a trip composed of numerous service projects.

The group will be in Oklahoma City on Wednesday, February 29 and need a service project that would accommodate a group of that size and provide lunch, if possible, as the trip is student-funded.

We have plenty of room for just about any type of activity inside the 32,000 square foot building or outside on 7 acres of property. Free Public Service Announcements in the Bricktown Movie Theater

Oklahoma nonprofits can design and run a Public Service Announcement for free at Bricktown 16 Theater.

Public Service Announcements advertising tobacco, alcohol, firearms, adoption, birth control, family planning or religious recruitment will not be accepted. Harkins Theatres reserves the right to refuse any content. To begin the reservation process you must submit a completed application and copy of your 501(c)(3) form. Once both of these are received you will be contacted by Harkins Theatres corporate office to discuss availability. Reservations are taken on a first come first served basis. Harkins Theatres highly recommends submitting your application at least 5 to 6 months prior to when you wish for it to air.

Nominate someone for the Giving Spirit Award

SpiritBank and KJRH, Channel 2 News have teamed up to promote and produce a news segment called The Giving Spirit Award. The public will nominate a volunteer with a giving spirit in the KJRH viewing area. Each month, they will select one of the nominees for The Giving Spirit Award, presenting a medal and featuring them in a 90 second news segment.
