The Oklahoma Alliance of Nonprofits (the Alliance) advocates for the interests of nonprofits throughout the state. Through the Alliance, we work to raise a common voice for the sector by gaining the attention of decision makers. We seek to educate Oklahomans about the value of our nonprofits and their contributions to the state.

Before the Alliance was formed in 2008, Oklahoma’s nonprofits lacked unity. They duplicated their efforts, lacked effective coordination to capitalize on their combined size and strengths and missed a collective voice at the legislature, in front of regulatory agencies and with the public.

The Alliance:

• Serves the nonprofit sector by providing quality information, training and networking opportunities
• Supports the nonprofit sector by offering savings through group-buying discount programs
• Protects the nonprofit sector by representing nonprofits at the Oklahoma Legislature and regulating state agencies and other local arenas of decision making
• Promotes the nonprofit sector by projecting a collective voice to the public about the sector's essential contributions and significant challenges in our communities
