Oklahoma FFA Foundation honored with award for excellence (April 14, 2012)
The Oklahoma FFA Foundation received the Charles Schusterman Award for Excellence at the fifth annual Oklahoma Nonprofit Excellence (ONE) Awards tonight in Tulsa. Several additional agencies were winners of their unique category of service, and 16 received finalist awards.

Center Announces New Hire from Chicago (April 4, 2012)
The Oklahoma Center for Nonprofits announced the appointment of Dan Billingsley as its Director of Resource Development and Communications. Billingsley will oversee fundraising, public relations and communications for the Center.

Nighs Announced as ONE Awards Honorary Co-Chairs (March 22, 2012)
The Oklahoma Center for Nonprofits announced The Honorable George and Donna Nigh as Honorary Co-Chairs of the Oklahoma Nonprofit Excellence (ONE) Awards. The Nighs were selected as ONE Co-Chairs for their 40 plus years of service to the citizens of Oklahoma.

Sen. Susan Paddack to discuss Senate Bill 1070 with nonprofits (July 7, 2011)
Sen. Susan Paddack will discuss and answer questions about Senate Bill 1070 in an upcoming training hosted by the Oklahoma Center for Nonprofits (the Center) next week. The bill took effect July 1 and requires all nonprofits to register with the secretary of state for their fundraising activities.

Thousands of Oklahoma nonprofits lose tax-exempt status (June 9, 2011)
The Internal Revenue Service released a list of 3,814 Oklahoma nonprofits today that had their tax-exempt statuses automatically revoked as a result of the Pension Protection Act of 2006.

National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum honored with award for excellence
(April 2, 2011)
The Oklahoma Center for Nonprofits named the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum the overall winner of its fourth annual Oklahoma Nonprofit Excellence (ONE) Awards tonight in Tulsa. Nine additional agencies were winners of their unique category of service, and 17 received finalist awards. In total, $160,000 was awarded to 27 of the state’s top nonprofits.

Selection commission announced for nonprofit awards

The Oklahoma Center for Nonprofits is pleased to announce the members of the 2011 Oklahoma Nonprofit Excellence (ONE) Selection Commission. The commission is a group of community leaders representing a cross-section of Oklahoma that meets each year to select finalists for the annual ONE Awards.
